Craven Arms MapWildlife Wanders

The River Onny was our guide along the grassy trail.

Take the A49 out of Craven Arms. A left turn to Cheney Longville takes you to the start of the Onny Trail.

In the quiet Onny Trail, we passed a few pleasant hours along the river banks. Here and there we came upon the old railway route between Craven Arms and Bishops Castle.

A glimpse of brilliant blue signalled the arrival of a kingfisher by the river.

We watched awhile in silence before returning to a peaceful picnic tea.
