"Riding's a joy! For me I Ride"
Robert Browning
The most peaceful way to enjoy the least crowded county of England is up, up, up on a horse.
Use our vast network of bridleways to soak up the delights of one of the three remaining rural idylls in the country. Bring your own horse or borrow one of ours. The choice is yours. The please is mutual.
With over 20 riding centres, there's something for all ages and abilities:-
- Hacking over the hills and vales
- Day rides
- Tuition available for cross country, dressage, side saddle and jumping
- Summer camps for children
- B&Bs for you and your horse (Oats again!)
Ride The Jack Mytton Way which is a seventy mile long bridleway from the Severn Valley to the Welsh borders near Llanfair Waterdine. Or, visit The Long Mynd with six-thousand acres of National Trust land to explore. Along with Wenlock Edge (not to be missed) this is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, if that's the sort of thing you want to hear.
